By the end of today’s workshop, you should be able to:
- Format and design your CV using Bren best practices, including knowing how CV formatting differs slightly from resume formatting.
- Understand the content typically included in a CV and begin making choices about which content to include in your own CVs.
- Understand how to assess the audience for your CV, including making formatting, organizational, and content choices to best market your qualifications for the specific audience.
- Convert an existing resume into a more detailed and/or more academically focused CV, and/or edit an existing CV to create a draft CV for applications that require it (such as for PhD programs, research-focused jobs, or certain fellowships).
